Play Arts Kai, under Square Enix (commonly known for the Final Fantasy and other video games) released new action figures in this year’s San Diego Comic Con (SDCC). They have lots of new releases from different titles, but what gave me nerdgasms was their version of the characters from the game Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Play Arts Kai figures are usually around 7+ – 10+ inches tall more or less, depending on the character. Their figures also include different accessories and interchangeable items again, depending on the character. The figures are higly possible with lots of articulation. If you are familiar with figures from Revoltech, Figma, and S.H. Figuarts it’s somewhat similar to these toy lines.

Price range for Play Arts Kai would go around $25+ – $100+ USD or Php 1000+ – Php 4000+ more or less, (only a rough estimate) depending on the character or the items. Hopefully the price of the Batman: Arkham Asylum series would be in the range of my budget.

I think they would come out Feb 2012 (I can’t wait), at least that’s what I heard. Not sure though if they are accepting pre-orders for this. You check out their site for more details on that as well.

It’s 2,800 pre-order and 3,000 once it comes out, I got the price from Sideshow Collectibles in Greenhills. I really want this but I think I’ll wait and take a look at it first once it comes out
